"Charms" which you can attach keys are popular official fan items, but they are bulky when you take in case of Trinary because there are six characters including Chiharu. Therefore, I decided to make an item which can be a substitute for that.
今回は、前回の時に追加購入しておいた銀粘土を使いました。プロみたいに凝ったものはできないので、形はシンプルに基本円形で。銀粘土を平たくする時は定規を使うといいと説明書に書いてあったのですが、やってみたら水分が多すぎたのか定規にくっついてしまってかえって形が崩れてしまう状態だったので、ある程度で諦めて手で形を整えました。麺棒とかあればもっときれいにできたかもしれないですが、今回はいぶし仕上げをするつもりだったため、少しでこぼこな方が味が出るかもと思いました。
I used extra silver clay that I had bought additionally last time. Since I can't make an elaborated design like a professional, I just made it in a simple circle shape. The manual was saying it would be better to use a ruler when to make the clay flat, but it became rather fragile using a ruler maybe because I put too much water, so I gave up at certain level and just shaped the clay by my hand. I could probably use a rolling pin to make it more neat, but I thought it might be better to leave some roughness because I intended to do oxidize finishing.
大体丸く伸ばしたら、ドライヤーで乾かし、クッキングペーパーの上にコンパスで書いた丸に合わせて、やすりで形を整えます。TRI-OSのマークと、そのまわりに石を配置する穴をやすりの先で彫っていきます。今回は指輪ほど細かくないので、造形は楽でした。
After I fairly shaped the clay into a circle, dried it with a hair dryer, and shaped it with a file to match the circle drawn with a compass on parchment paper. I carved the TRI-OS mark in center with the tip of the file and made holes where stones were placed around it. This time, it was not as elaborated as a ring, so it was easy to shape.
十分に乾かした後、焼成を行います。今回はなぜかコンロの火がすぐ消えてしまうことが多く、少し手間取りましたが無事終了。
I fired the plate after drying the clay thoroughly. For some reason, the fire of my gas cooker often went out soon, so it took a while, but I managed to finish firing.
スポンジやすりで全体にやすりをかけた後、いぶし仕上げ。熱湯にセットに同梱されているいぶし液を２滴ほどたらします。硫黄なので温泉の匂いが。銀を中性洗剤で洗って油を落とした後、いぶし液に入れるとみるみる黒くなります。全体が黒くなったところで引き上げ、再度やすりで磨くとへこんだ箇所に黒が残り、TRI-OSのマークが強調されます。
After filing the whole surface of the silver plate with a sponge file, I went on oxidize finishing. I poured about 2 drops of the oxidize liquid included in the craft set into boiling water. It had the smell of hot spring because it was sulfur. I washed the plate with a neutral detergent to remove oil, then I put it in the cup. The plate turned black instantly. When it got all black, I picked up and filed it with the sponge file again. The black color was left in the dented area and accentuating the TRI-OS mark.
十分にやすりがけしたら、いよいよ石の配置へ。金属用接着剤とピンセットを使って、本体にくっつけていきます。
Stones were finally placed after filing the plate wholly. Using metal glue and tweezers, I attached them to holes.
今回のアクセサリーの趣旨として、キャラクター全員を象徴する石を使いたいというのがありました。百均で売っているようなプラスチックの飾りでもできなくはなかったのですが、調べてみたところ、本物の鉱石でもこの大きさのルース（カットしただけの状態の石）ならわりとリーズナブルな値段だったので、思い切って購入することにしました。やっぱり思い入れがあればこそ、本物を使いたいと思ったのです。
My purpose of this accessory was to use stones that symbolize each of the characters. It was possible to use plastic parts sold at a discount shop, but I found out real ores were priced quite reasonable for this size of loose stones (ores that has only been cut in a shape), so I decided to take the plunge and buy them. After all, I wanted to use the real one to express my special feeling toward the characters.

写真だとちょっと伝わりにくいかもしれませんが、天然石はこんなにいろんな色があって綺麗なんだなあと感心しました。石は３ミリのラウンドカットで揃えました。残念ながらエリカさん用のスモーキークォーツは同じ大きさのラウンドカットがなかったので、ラウンドカボッションという丸型になりました。（設定上エリカさんだけは立場が違うので、それもありかなと思いました。）
It might be a little hard to get from this photo, but I was impressed that there are so many beautiful natural stones of various colors. The stones are 3 millimeters round cut. Unfortunately, there was no round cut of the same size for Erica's smoky quartz, so it turned out to be round cabochon. (I thought that might be rather suitable because Erika is in a different position from other girls in terms of setting.)

現在の私のキーホルダー。石がとれないようにカバーをつけました。（今更ですが、TRI-OSのマークってレゴのミニフィグそっくりですね。）

その後、本来の目的だったイオン（寧）へ贈る指輪も作れたので、他の分野の制作もやってみたいと思っています。
I also managed to make a ring for Ion (Nei) later, which was my original purpose of silver clay craft, so I'd like to work on creation of other kind in the future.
