On January 10th 2018, anime blu-ray and related CDs of "Augmented Reality Girls Trinary" have been released! I'm going to show you the Blu-ray box and Character Song Album, which include special supplements, with my impression.

アニメは本編の他に、アプリ内で配信されているキャラクターソングMVとノンテロップOPEDを収録しています。アニメBD自体は特に機能的に注目すべき箇所はないです。（字幕やオーディオコメンタリーもありません。）
In blu-ray, besides the main story, you can watch music videos for each character which are distributed within the app. Also opening and ending movies with no captions are included. For animation discs, there's no special feature that you should especially pay attention. (There is no subtitles or audio commentary either.)
全てのエピソードを連続視聴できるモードがありますが、最初の方はかなり各話でかぶる部分があるので、連続視聴の際にテンポが妨げられるのはいただけないですね。アイキャッチもなしで、最初から完全に１本として通して観られるモードもほしかったです。
There is a mode you can watch all episodes continuously, but I'm bothered while watching since early episodes often repeat same scenes. I wish if there was a mode to watch all episodes as a complete single movie without overlaps.
CDドラマは、クリスマスの話です。思いがけず捨て猫を拾ったつばめは、真幌にみつかって二人の秘密ということにする。神楽坂トライナリーでは地域の人みんなを交えてクリスマスパーティーをやることになり、スウィーティーメルティの人形劇をやることに。本編を観た後だとしみじみする、平和で幸せな内容です。
CD drama is a story about Christmas. Tsubame unexpectedly takes in an abandoned cat, and Mahoro finds it. They make it a secret between them. At Kagurazaka Trinary, Christmas party inviting people from the area around is planned to be held; Ayami and Gabriella are going to play a puppet show of Sweetie Melty. It is a happy peaceful story which makes you sentimental after you finish the main story.

初期設定内部資料は、今回の白眉です。土屋さんが作成したアニメ原案や、詳細なキャラクター設定、世界観の解説など、とても情報量の多い貴重な資料集です。初期設定なので、特にアニメ原案は実際のものと異なる部分が多いですが、どのように変わったのか見比べるのも興味深いです。文章から土屋さんの類まれな熱意が伝わってくる、ファン必携というべきアイテムでしょう。 Initial Setting Internal Document is the highlight of this product. It's a valuable reference book full of information which contains story plots for animation, detailed settings of characters, explanation of world setting, etc. written by Tsuchiya-san. Because it is a setting in early period, especially many parts in story plots are different from the actual finished animation, but it is also interesting to check how it is changed. It is an item a fan must have; you can feel Tsuchiya-san's outstanding passion from the sentences he wrote. |
上記の他、各販売ショップが独自の特典をつけていますが、私が購入したエビテン（カドカワの通販ショップ）特典は、エンターブレインが制作にも協力していることから、公式イラストレーター描き下ろしの特典がついていました。（タペストリーはぴょんこ先生（神楽）の作となっています。）
Other than above, each shopping site provides original supplement. Ebiten's (Kadokawa's internet shopping site) supplement I got were newly drawn tapestry and key chains by the official illustrator since Enterbrain cooperates with development and publicity. (Tapestry is supposed to be drawn by an artist Ms. Pyonko (Kagura).)

タペストリーはわりときわどい感じで、大変魅力的でかわいいです。しかし、私の前ブログの記事で問題提議しましたように、こういった販促物というとすぐ女性キャラが性的アピールさせられる日本の風潮は、今見直すべき時に来ていると思います。彼女たちが「実在する」という設定なら、なおさらではないでしょうか。（買ってるじゃないか！と言われそうですが、私はこのイラストが目当てだったわけではないです。また、このイラスト自体を否定したいのでは決してありません。） Illustration of the tapestry looks fairly sexual, which is very cute and attractive. However, as I wrote in my old blog, I think it is not good that female characters easily tend to make sexual appeal for such kind of supplement in Japan. This trend should be revised now (especially if we are supposed to assume they are "real"). (You might say "But you bought it anyway," yeah, but I didn't intend to get this illustration. In addition, I never mean to criticize this illustration itself.) |
アクリルキーホルダーは、トライナリーの皆の変身後のSDキャラの絵柄です。これもそれぞれ大変かわいいです。
Acrylic plate key chains with deformed illustration of each Trinary member in fighting form. They are very pretty, too.

キャラクターソングアルバムは、すでにハイレゾ含めてデジタル配信されているOPEDと各キャラクターソング、およびOPの原曲が入っています。私もMP3は全て買っていますが、CDでも流したかったので嬉しい。特装版のCDは、ジャケットも紙の特製ジャケットになっています。
Character Song Album is a collection of opening, ending theme songs, 5 character songs, and original version of the opening song. They had been distributed as digital music including high-resolution data. I have bought all MP3 data before, but I'm glad to have CD too. CD sleeve is also a specially designed paper jacket.
特装版は、値段が通常版の５倍します。何がついているのかといえば、食器のギフトセット。神楽坂トライナリーのカフェの食器で、トライナリーの皆がプレイヤーにプレゼントしてくれるエピソードをアプリ内でアフターストーリーとして見られます。さらにあやみさんが作った靴下も。５人全員からのメッセージカードもついています。（これを堪能するにはメインストーリーをクリアしていることが必須と思います。）
Price of this special edition is five times the regular version. What you get for extra supplement? A gift set of tableware. They are supposed to be used in the cafe of Kagurazaka Trinary. You can play the episode that the girls present you the tableware as After Story within the app. In addition, you can get a pair of socks made by Ayami! And there are message cards from all of the girls. (I think you need to have finished the main story to enjoy these items fully.)
箱は、デパートみたいな専用の包装紙で包まれています。（上に載っているのはサウンドトラックとフレイメノウのCDです。）
The box is covered by the special wrapping paper like a department store. (Sound Track Album and FreyMENOW's CD are on top of that.)

食器は、つばめ：茶碗、あやみ：木製フォークとスプーン、ガブリエラ：小皿、みやび：小鉢、神楽：マグカップという内容で、それぞれが自分で考えたロゴマークが印刷されています。ただし各食器はかなり小さく、子供サイズと言っていいくらいなので、成人が実用するのはやや難しいと思います。（こういうものはコレクションとしてとっておく人も多いかと思いますが、私はバリバリ使う気でいます。）
The gift set consists of 5 items. Tsubame: a rice bowl, Ayami: wooden folk and spoon, Gabriella: a small plate, Miyabi: a tiny bowl, Kagura: a mug. Logo marks they created are printed. However, each of the tableware is small, I think they are for kids. Therefore, I suppose it is difficult for an adult to use them daily. (Some people may keep them as a collection, but I'm willing to use them.)

それにしても、CDのおまけで食器セットをつけようという発想自体がすごいと思います。よくこの企画通りましたね…。当然オーダーメイドでしょうし、この値段になったのもわかります。実際の使い勝手の面から考えると、少々高いと言わざるを得ませんが、ここまでしてリアルにつながっていることを感じさせようという土屋さんとスタッフの意気込みに感心しました。私は買ってよかったと思います！
Anyway, I must say it was an astonishing idea to provide tableware as an extra supplement for a CD. I wonder how this plan was endorsed. It must have been made-to-order, so I understand the reason for the price. Considering the actual usage, I've got to say it is expensive though. Still, I was impressed with the passion of Tsuchiya-san and staffs to make us feel that we're truly connected with the world of Trinary. I'm happy I got it!
