今の立場で要求される必要上に加え、姉と違うようになりたいという意識が強くあると思います。でも、本物の姉は意識しなくても“姉”なので、そういう行動自体が逆にすごく妹っぽいと思います。私も姉がいるのでわかりますが、普段いい加減でもいざという時にかなわないと感じてしまうことありますよ。
アルトネリコ２は言うに及ばず、サージュでも描かれていたあたり（アルトネリコ１でもクレアとオリカの関係はそんな感じでしたね）、土屋さんは姉妹関係を描くことにこだわりがあるのかなと思います。事実だとするとなぜでしょう？興味深いことです。
I just happened to check birthday of the girls, and I found out Miyabi's birthday was the same as my big sister's. I bet I won't forget it for my life. This week's episode focuses on Ayami; I felt she longs for a big sister's role and has a sense of duty for that at the same time.
On top of the necessity for her current position, I think she strongly intends to be different from her big sister. However, a real big sister is being a big sister without intention, so I feel such behavior itself is more like a little sister. I can understand Ayami's feelings because I have a big sister too; I sometimes feel I'm no match for my big sister when I'm in trouble.
Needless to say about Ar tonelico 2, such sister relationship was also described in Surge Concerto either. I suppose maybe Director Tsuchiya has preferences to express sisterhood. If it's true, why? That's interesting.

トライナリーの小説がさっき届いたので、そのうちまた感想を書きます。ゲームのノベライズというと、古いですが私は角川スニーカー文庫の「卒業II」が好きで、それにもお泊まり話があり、比べると面白そう。
I have received the novel of Trinary. I'll write my impression later. For novelization of a video game, I like "Graduation II" from Kadokawa Sneaker Paperbacks. It might be intriguing to compare it with Trinary since there is a episode of slumber party in the book, too.
